Paint your creation with more than 50 vibrant colors, then leave it with us to glaze and fire in our special pottery kiln. We clean up — you just enjoy painting.
3. Pick up your masterpiece
Kiln-fired in-house and ready in a few days (next-day rush on request) — glossy, food-safe and entirely yours.

How your art becomes glass-smooth
Step 1. We hand-dip your painted piece in a clear, non-toxic glaze.
Step 2. It's kiln-fired in-house to about 2,000°F (cone 06).
Step 3. Out comes a glossy, durable, food-safe finish — ready in a few days, or next day as a rush fire on request.
Walk-Ins Welcome
Walk in anytime — or reserve a table
We are a semi do-it-yourself art studio. Come in any time we are open, pick out a pottery piece, paint it, and we take care of the rest — including the cleaning up. Walk-ins are always welcome, but if you'd like a table waiting for you, reserve one online for $25 — it goes toward your final total, there's no time limit, and it's refundable with 24 hours' notice. Groups, hotel guests and private classes can call ahead on 435-575-6463.
Studio fee $10 per adult (13 and older), $6 for children 12 and under, plus the cost of the pottery.
Pottery pieces start at $3 and go up from there — over 100 shapes to choose from.
We hold finished pieces for 30 days from the date on your receipt, unless you ask us to hold them longer. After that we may choose to donate them to charity.
No class needed
Paint your own ceramic pendants
Ceramic pendants are a walk-in project, not a class — the studio fee is just $5 plus the pendant. Paint it with glaze and we kiln-fire it, or paint it with acrylics and take it home the same day.

How much does pottery painting cost?+
The studio fee is $10 for adults 13 and older and $6 for kids 12 and under, plus the cost of your pottery piece, which starts at $3.
When can I pick up my finished piece?+
Pieces are kiln-fired in-house and ready to pick up in a few days — or the next day as a rush fire if you ask. No car? We'll bag it up for Uber Courier or the courier of your choice to bring to your hotel. Finished pieces are held for 30 days from your receipt date (longer if you ask), then we may choose to donate them to charity.
Is the finished pottery food safe?+
Yes. Once glazed and fired in our kiln, plates, mugs and bowls are food safe.
Do I need any art experience?+
Not at all. Our Creativity Center has pottery stencils, painter's tape, fine-line writers, kiln pencils and sponges, and our staff are happy to help.
Can I write song lyrics or a signature on my piece?+
Yes! Our kiln pencils look like real lead pencils after they're fired — perfect for lyrics, handwriting, signatures and dates.
Will the paint wash out of clothes?+
Our pottery underglazes are water-based, so they usually wash out of clothing with soap and water. Acrylic paints don't come out easily, though — so grab one of our aprons before you start!
Can we do baby footprints or pet paw prints?+
Absolutely. Handprint, footprint and paw print keepsakes are some of our favorites.
Can I come back to finish my piece?+
Yes. There's no time limit during open hours, and you can come back and finish your piece at no additional cost.
